How Freshh protects you
Plain words, no fine print.
Nothing to sign up for
Freshh never asks for your name, email, phone number, birthday or location. There are no accounts and no passwords.
Your photo is deleted right after your check
Your photo is sent over an encrypted connection to be checked, and it exists on our server only for the few seconds that takes. It is never written to storage or logs. On your device it is held in memory while you read your results, then erased the moment you leave the screen or tap Delete photo now.
Hidden photo details never leave your phone
Before a photo is sent, Freshh removes the hidden details cameras attach to it, such as location, device and time.
Photos are never stored
Not on our servers and not on your device. A saved look keeps your score, your tips and a color card. It never keeps the photo.
Encrypted on your device
Your scores and saved looks stay on your device, locked with AES-256 encryption using a key that never leaves your browser. If a browser cannot lock data safely, Freshh saves nothing at all.
Ads that do not follow you
Freshh is free with a few sponsor cards. They are placed by Freshh itself. There are no ad networks, no cookies and no tracking, the ads are the same for everyone, and they never affect a score. Freshh+ removes them.
Safe for every age
Every photo passes three safety layers: a separate screen before any styling happens, strict rules inside the style engine, and a plain word filter on everything sent back. Freshh only accepts photos of fully dressed people, keeps every word kind, is gentler with younger people, and is for checking your own look. It is never for rating someone else.
Feedback about the look, never the person
Freshh rates things you can change, such as hair, fit, color and outfit. It never rates bodies or faces, at any age.
Counting without tracking
To improve the app we count how many times things happen, such as how many checks were run today. A count is an event name and a date. It holds no ID, no cookie and no address, and it is skipped entirely if your browser asks not to be tracked. To stop abuse, the server briefly keeps a scrambled daily code for each network, which cannot be turned back into an address and expires within a day.
Freshh+ payments
Payments are handled by our payment provider on their own secure page. Freshh never sees your card. The app receives only a signed pass that unlocks Freshh+ on your device. You can cancel anytime and keep Freshh+ until the end of the period you paid for.
Shopping links
Some recommendations link to a store. Freshh may earn a commission if you buy. We send the store no information about you.
Sharing is your call
Freshh makes a score card and hands it to your phone's share menu. It never asks for social media logins and never posts for you. Your photo is left off the card unless you switch it on. Once you share a card, it lives on the app you shared it to.
The camera stays in your hands
The built-in camera runs only while the camera screen is open, and it turns off the moment you take the photo or leave.
You are in control
Delete all my data, in Profile, erases everything on your device in one tap.
